Chapter 1984 Thor Odinson, the former crown prince of Asgard!

Chapter 1984 Thor Odinson, the former crown prince of Asgard!

Outside the Golden Palace, a formidable array of ships was already in place, with streamlined, colossal vessels silently suspended in the air.

They were entirely dark gold and silver-white, with a faint blue glow flowing over their hulls.

The massive bow was not a traditional ram, but a concentrated cannon muzzle brimming with terrifying energy; the pulsating energy at its core was in no way inferior to the core of a small star.

The sides unfold a metal structure resembling the wings of a divine bird, densely covered with honeycomb-like emission units filled with high-energy rays capable of tearing apart small stars.

These warships are as large as mountains, with the smallest being several kilometers long, and the largest flagship resembling a mobile steel city, silently lurking in the starry sky, exuding a suffocating sense of oppression.

Although Asgards are accustomed to fighting with melee weapons, their technology is actually extremely advanced, with the Rainbow Bridge being a prime example.

Beneath and around these steel behemoths, the traditional Asgardian legions have not been replaced.

Clad in armor, they were stationed in units of hundreds or thousands in specific areas of the warships, or piloted small assault boats, swarming around the main warships like bees.

Pegasus knights clad in golden armor soared through the sky, wielding spears crackling with lightning.

Looking down from the stars, Asgard at this moment resembles an interstellar fortress armed to the teeth; the chilling aura is so tangible that it makes the surrounding starlight appear dim.

Time flowed silently amidst the intense preparations.

Every minute and every second, Asgard's war machines are undergoing final checks and recharging.

The Rainbow Bridge's control center is operating at full power, ready to launch long-range strikes at any moment.

Loki sat in the Golden Palace, in control of the entire situation.

Tony and the Ancient One took their positions, awaiting the start of the battle.

Sudden.

Far from Asgard's homeland, but still outside the defensive perimeter of Asgard, space seemed to be violently torn apart by an invisible giant hand.

A huge, pitch-black hole suddenly opened, its edges flashing with ominous purple arcs of electricity, and from within came waves of chaotic and destructive energy that sent chills down one's spine.

Then, as if Pandora's box had been opened, an enormous number of shadows, so numerous they were terrifying, surged out of the massive spatial rift.

It was a warship, but its style was different from the ruggedness of Asgard; instead, it exuded majesty and extreme oppressive power.

The dark metallic color forms the main tone, and the ship's structure is angular, like the fangs and claws of a wild beast.

They vary in size, from as small as a spear to as large as a mountain, but they all have in common that they are equipped with a dense array of cannons and launchers, exuding a chilling bloodlust.

As soon as they appeared, they were like a swarm of metal locusts that blotted out the sun, almost completely obscuring the starlight of that star field. Their size and number even slightly overshadowed the Asgardian fleet that was on high alert.

A terrifying pressure, heavy as an abyss and carrying endless greed and a destructive will, spread towards Asgard.

At the same instant, all the warships of Asgard lit up with light, signifying that their weapons were fully charged; warriors on the ground and in the air gripped their weapons tightly, their fighting spirit and divine power surging within every Asgardian.

Deep within the Golden Palace, Loki's emerald eyes reflected the crimson patch on the star map that represented the enemy.

They are coming.

"Warriors of Asgard, attack!"

Loki's voice resounded in the ears of every warrior.

When the King of Gods issued the order, Asgard, who had already burned his fighting spirit and divine power to the extreme, gave the most direct response!

"boom!!!"

The first to launch an attack was the largest starship, hovering at the very front of the array.

The deep blue energy core at the bow of the ship, which resembled a miniature sun, suddenly erupted with a dazzling light that was impossible to look directly at.

A massive torrent of energy, large enough to engulf an asteroid, shot out, heading straight for the enemy fleet that had just emerged.

This seems to be a signal.

"Whoosh whoosh whoosh!!!"

In the next instant, countless high-energy beams of various colors erupted from every cannon of the Asgardian fleet.

At the same time, the Asgardian warriors surrounding the capital ships also moved.

The heavily armored warriors activated the thrusters on their backs, transforming into streaks of golden meteors as they charged fiercely toward the approaching enemy ships. The weapons in their hands glowed, unleashing energy blades powerful enough to tear through the warships' armor.

Pegasus riders, riding their neighing steeds, nimbly weaved through a hail of bullets, their hurled lightning spears precisely striking the enemy ships' engines or weapon ports, triggering a series of secondary explosions.

The starry sky was ignited at that moment.

Asgard's first volley of fire slammed into Thanos's fleet, which surged forward like a black tide.

In an instant, the silent universe was illuminated as if it were daytime by the flames of the explosion.

One after another, the menacing enemy ships, under Asgard's fierce firepower, had their energy shields shattered like paper, their thick armor torn apart, and then turned into expanding fireballs.

The shattered hull fragments, leaking energy flows, and the remains of soldiers who couldn't escape instantly formed a deadly metal storm in the void.

But Thanos's fleet reacted with terrifying speed.

After enduring the first wave of attacks and losing dozens of warships, this silent legion immediately demonstrated its ruthless and efficient warfare skills.

The remaining warships quickly adjusted their formation, with the smaller and medium-sized warships spreading out like predatory sharks to flank the Asgardian lines and use concentrated secondary gun fire to try to disrupt them.

Meanwhile, the massive flagships, resembling mobile fortresses, began to charge their countless cannons, and dark purple, destructive energy began to gather.

"Fire."

A voice, indifferent yet authoritative, rang out, and the next moment...

"Boom boom boom boom!!!"

Thanos's fleet opened fire.

The thick main cannon beam was like the gaze of death, distorting and absorbing even the light in its path.

Small, shuttle-shaped suicide assault ships, moving at incredible speeds, evaded most of the intercepting fire and rammed directly into the Asgardian warships, causing violent explosions.

The two sides' artillery fire clashed wildly in the starry sky.

Energy beams intertwined to form the warp and weft of destruction, and explosions rose and fell, painting the universe into a cruel yet magnificent picture.

The wreckage of the warships continued to increase, like tragically beautiful steel flowers blooming in a vacuum.

The Asgardian warships' sturdy armor groaned under the corrosive purple energy, while Thanos's warships disintegrated under the beams of light.

Pegasus knights were locked in combat with enemy single-soldier aircraft, energy blades and bullets flew everywhere, and debris kept falling.

Just then, a roar far more violent than the roar of any warship's main gun suddenly exploded on the flank of the battlefield!

Boom!!!

A blazing beam of light, wreathed in endless lightning, slashed down from the depths of the distant starry sky and pierced Thanos's fleet!

In an instant, the blinding lightning expanded like a supernova explosion, and hundreds of small suicide ships and assault boats, along with several medium-sized escort ships around them, were instantly shattered by the pure and extreme power of the lightning before they could even react.

The violent shockwaves from the Razer spread in all directions, causing enemy ships further away to sway and tilt, their shields to flicker violently, and some even to overload and collapse.

As the lightning subsided, a towering figure, bathed in the lingering arcs of electricity, stormed into the battlefield.

He was clad in dark silver armor, his scarlet cloak billowing in the turbulent vacuum, and in his hand he gripped Mjolnir, the symbol of the power of the Asgardian thunder god.

In his other hand, he was holding the Storm Axe!

Thor Odinson, the former crown prince of Asgard and the universally acknowledged god of thunder in the Nine Realms, descends upon the battlefield!

His long hair danced wildly under the surge of divine power, his eyes burned with boiling battle intent, and the lightning wrapped around his body made him look like a humanoid lightning star, exuding an aura that made people dare not look directly at him.

"Loki!!!"

"A war broke out in Asgard, and you didn't even tell me?!"

Thor's voice resounded directly on the communication channels of every warship in Asgard and was clearly transmitted back to the depths of the Golden Palace.

The voice was filled with suppressed anger and resentment at his younger brother for monopolizing the battle without informing him.

He wouldn't have known about this if he hadn't discovered that Asgard was waging war on Earth.

As he spoke, his hands never stopped moving.

Thor's hammer pointed forward, and a bolt of lightning as thick as a bucket shot out like an angry dragon, instantly blasting a warship that was preparing to fire its main guns at the Asgardian mothership straight through.

With a casual swing of the Storm Axe, a terrifying crescent-shaped bolt of lightning swept out, cleaving a formation of dozens of individual flying vehicles that were rushing in from the side in half, turning them into a continuous trail of smoke and fire in the air.

Without needing any tactics, he simply traversed the battlefield with his bare body.

Lightning raged wherever he went, and Thanos's fleet unleashed a barrage of fire at him, but it was easily blasted away by the lightning surrounding him.

He deliberately chose to charge where the enemy was concentrated, and he would smash wherever the firepower was strongest, demonstrating Thor's ferocious destructive power to the fullest.

The Asgardian fleet, which had been under pressure from enemy suicide attacks and heavy artillery fire, suddenly felt relieved due to Thor's ruthless and unreasonable incursion.

Seeing their prince's valor, the nearby Asgardian warriors were greatly encouraged, roaring "For Asgard!" and "For Prince Thor!", and launched an even fiercer counterattack.

Inside the Golden Palace, Loki "watched" Thor rampage through the enemy ranks via a star map, and his lips twitched almost imperceptibly.

"This idiot whose mind is only about muscles and beer."

Loki cursed under his breath.

He didn't inform Thor, partly because he didn't want to get involved with the guy, and partly because the guy's involvement wouldn't have any impact on the battle.

But since this guy is here, there's nothing we can do but let him have his fun.

But at that moment, Tony looked at him with a strange expression.

"You gave him the Stormbreaker?"

This is not a weapon Thor should have right now.

Aside from what Loki gave him, he couldn't think of any other way Thor could obtain Stormbreaker.

"It is merely a creation of my authority over lies, not the real Stormbreaker."

Loki said calmly, his gaze still fixed on the star map.

"Ha, stubborn as a mule."

"Even if it's a replica you 'created' using the Reality Gem combined with the Authority of Lies, its power is probably almost on par with the original, right?"

"Otherwise, how could it be such a coincidence that it just happens to be the shape of the Storm Axe?"

"This awkward way of showing concern is really typical."

Tony glanced at Loki's seemingly indifferent profile and inwardly scoffed.

However, he didn't expose it, but simply turned his attention back to Thor's dominating figure on the star map.

Thor's arrival was indeed like a tiger among sheep, greatly relieving the pressure.

But Thanos's army was clearly not just made up of fearless cannon fodder.

Just as Thor was getting carried away with the killing spree, the brilliance of his thunder and battle axe almost obscuring everything around him, he charged straight toward the dark gold flagship.

A shadowy figure suddenly tore through the flames of the warship's explosion, and with almost instantaneous speed, abruptly intercepted Thor's path of charge!

"clang-!!!"

The metallic clang, seemingly capable of piercing the soul, exploded violently in the vacuum.

A visible ring of shockwaves instantly spread out, completely crushing the wreckage of several unfortunate small warships nearby into powder.

Thor's forward momentum was abruptly halted, and he stared in astonishment at the presence of Mjolnir blocking his path.

It was an unusually tall man with deathly gray skin, wearing a hideous dark armor, his face withered yet exuding a chilling killing intent.

What was most striking was the enormous battle sword in his hand, its blade gleaming with an ominous dark red light. It was this very sword that had just blocked Mjolnir head-on!

The newcomer was none other than the leader of the Obsidian Five, General Corruptor!

"Thor from Asgard?"

"I never expected to meet you so soon after I came into this world."

"However, your strength is much weaker than your counterpart in our universe."

"But this is the world's problem, not your problem."

"As a tribute to 'Thor,' your head will become another trophy I offer to my master."

General Corvus Glaive's voice was hoarse, carrying a sense of indifference towards life.

After saying that, he flicked his wrist, and a fierce light burst from his sword, which actually knocked Thor's hammer away. Then he slashed at Thor's chest.

Thor's fighting instincts allowed him to react instantly. He swept his Stormbreaker, the blade crackling with even more powerful lightning, and clashed violently with Corvus Glaive's claws.

"boom!"

Another burst of energy, but this time, Thor felt a slight tingling and numbness in his arm.

The opponent's strength was actually greater than he had expected.

"Um?!"

Thor was not alarmed but delighted, his fighting spirit burning even brighter. Mjolnir and Stormbreaker swung like the wind, and lightning seemed to come alive around him, transforming into countless lightning snakes that devoured Corvus Glaive from all angles.

In an instant, the area where the two were located transformed into a death zone where lightning and dark red blades collided wildly, and the dissipated energy easily tore apart everything around them.
