She paused, then looked at the black panther cub nestled in its father's arms, peeking at her through its fingers. "This black panther cub is acting."
The crowd stirred. The black panther man's face turned a deep purple, and a flicker of panic flashed in his golden-green eyes, but it was quickly overshadowed by an even stronger rage.

"Enough." The hyena guard raised his clipboard, silencing the black panther man's roar.
"Take this cub back to the clinic for examination."
