Chapter 18 Target Selection in Hypnosis
Chapter 18 Target Selection in Hypnosis
Wang Hong was taking the M449 bus. He checked the app and saw that he still had 20 minutes to go, which made him feel a little speechless.
I should have checked it before leaving the house.
I strolled leisurely to the bus stop, where many commuters were waiting for their buses.
Most people were holding breakfast items like steamed buns or fried dough sticks.
These people mostly live alone and have no time to get up and make their own breakfast. They spend their mornings sleeping and waiting for the next alarm clock.
Wang Hong carried a small bag containing seven simple hypnotic drawings.
Last night he spent time drawing out the patterns representing the seven emotions and then put them in his bag for future use.
Judging from what happened yesterday, there were still quite a few emergencies.
However, he still wouldn't use his abilities within the building's perimeter, as the risk was too high.
There are still 6 people's tasks left, and he needs to figure out a way to complete them.
He found several of the hypnotist's characteristics to be very useful.
It would be a shame to refresh your profession before finishing the job.
Completing a hypnosis task is actually not difficult; the only challenge is choosing the right subject for hypnosis.
First and foremost, it is certain that the subject must be a human; animals are not acceptable.
Secondly, Wang Hong wouldn't attack a stranger without a reason.
He can only feel at ease taking action if it's at least like the case of that woman walking her dog without a leash yesterday.
At the same time, you should also be careful to avoid cameras.
Otherwise, it would be bad if he hypnotized someone and it was filmed, which would definitely cause some unnecessary trouble.
While waiting for the bus, one vehicle after another drove by from a distance.
But none of the buses were the 449 that Wang Hong wanted to take.
Just then, a whiff of smoke drifted into Wang Hong's nose, and the unpleasant smell made him frown.
I glanced over and saw a young man smoking on the spot after finishing his breakfast.
He was standing right in the crowd waiting for the train, and he made no attempt to hide it.
As they puffed out smoke, a gust of wind blew it through, and everyone downwind was smoked.
These people either went around to avoid the smoke, held their breath, or put on masks.
Everyone was angry but dared not speak out. They were about to go to work, and no one wanted to cause trouble at this time, otherwise they might be late for work and have their pay docked.
Looking at the young man smoking, Wang Hong thought he would be a good subject for hypnosis.
So he cleared his throat and said loudly, "Hey you, could you go smoke in a corner or downwind? Nobody wants to inhale your secondhand smoke."
His words immediately attracted the attention of many people, who looked at Wang Hong with a hint of gratitude in their eyes.
But the young man only glanced at Wang Hong and continued smoking, even exhaling the entire cigarette without inhaling it.
Then he looked at Wang Hong with a provocative expression.
Seeing this, Wang Hong walked over to him.
The man wasn't afraid of Wang Hong to begin with, and when he saw that Wang Hong was even lame, his face was filled with disdain.
Seeing that Wang Hong, despite his limp, was still trying to argue, someone finally couldn't help but reach out and pull Wang Hong back.
Just as he was about to try to persuade him, a bus slowly pulled into the station; it was the 449 that Wang Hong was waiting for.
Coincidentally, the guy who was smoking was also riding in this car.
He casually tossed the cigarette in his hand and quickly got into the car.
Wang Hong was about to follow, but the kind person held him back tightly.
"Young man, don't be impulsive. You can't win against them like this." This man looked to be in his early thirties, probably a struggling working-class guy.
Upon hearing this, Wang Hong couldn't help but smile wryly and said, "But I also need to take this bus, and I'm going to be late for work."
As soon as he finished speaking, the kind man immediately let go, smiling apologetically, and said, "I'm sorry."
Wang Hongchong nodded and then boarded the bus through the back door.
This is the type of bus where you can swipe your card to board from the rear door, so boarding from the back won't be affected at all.
After swiping his card, he turned around and glanced around, only to see the man who had been smoking earlier sitting in the second-to-last row.
Wang Hong immediately went over and sat down behind him.
"I was just having a smoke, and you're targeting me?" The guy looked annoyed.
Wang Hong smiled and said, "Can't I ride in this car?"
"Heh, I'm warning you, don't cause any trouble, or I'll fuck you to death, you cripple." The man shouted menacingly.
Wang Hong smiled but did not speak.
But his appearance only fueled the smoker's anger.
Wang Hong calmly took a painting out of his bag.
This is a new line drawing I just made last night.
The painting consists of only a few curved lines drawn with some gaps between them, making it look like a ball of flame.
This simple line drawing is much simpler than the previous ones.
This is a painting that represents "anger".
Wang Hong unfolded the paper, smoothed it out, and placed it in front of his chest.
After getting ready, he reached out and touched the smoking man in front of him.
The latter was still angry, and when Wang Hong touched him, he immediately turned his head with a furious expression.
Just as he was about to reprimand him, he saw the "flame" on Wang Hong's chest.
Wang Hong said very succinctly, "Please control your anger."
After reaching the cyan hypnotist level, Wang Hong no longer needed to use excessive language to assist him.
If he were to advance to the next level, he would be able to complete hypnosis without speaking.
Under Wang Hong's hypnosis, the young man's eyes showed a look of confusion.
But soon, a surge of anger ignited within him.
It's unlikely to erupt suddenly, like a volcanic eruption!
"What the hell do you want? Huh? So what if I inhaled some secondhand smoke? What's it to you!"
"If you keep babbling, I'll cripple you!"
"Idiot! Cripple! What are you looking at!"
The young man shouted as he got up and kicked the stool where Wang Hong was sitting.
His face was contorted with rage, and the veins on his neck were bulging, clearly indicating that his emotions had reached a peak.
His noise immediately attracted the attention of the people on the bus.
The driver also stopped the car, which had just started moving, and pulled over to the side of the road, turning his head to look at the back seat.
There were a few other people on the bus; they were the ones who had been waiting for the bus with Wang Hong and the others.
Hearing the noise, they immediately looked at Wang Hong and the others with concern.
Faced with the extremely angry young man, Wang Hong did not react at all, but quietly watched him rage.
The latter became increasingly agitated, kicking the stool and even throwing a punch at Wang Hong.
Wang Hong slightly tilted his head and dodged the punch.
The man then punched the bus seat, making a loud "smack!"
The price he paid was that his fists were trembling with pain!
The driver and other passengers were about to help when they realized he had stopped on his own because of hand pain.
A moment later, he stood up angrily, swung his arm, and turned to grab the fire extinguisher from the bus.
The driver immediately grabbed him, and the other passengers also came forward to help.
Even after being restrained by several people, this guy was still roaring, "Let me go! I'll kill you!!"
His eyes even looked a little red.
