Su Wanyi merely responded with a gentle "Hmm" and said nothing more.Two people walked into the jewelry store, and the sales lady enthusiastically watched the man and woman enter.

"Sir, Miss, is there anything I can help you with?" the saleswoman asked with a smile.

Su Wanyi remained silent, but Ye Chen smiled and spoke up: "We want to pick out wedding rings."

"Sure, please follow me this way." The saleswoman warmly led Ye Chen and Su Wanyi to the diamond ring counter.

"Do you have any particular style in mind? Besides the ones in stock, we also offer custom designs." The saleswoman added with a smile.

Ye Chen glanced at the rings in the counter, then turned to Su Wanyi and asked, "Wanyi, do you see any style you like here?"

"They’re all fine, I guess," Su Wanyi said in a low voice.

Actually, Su Wanyi had been looking forward to this day, Ye Chen bringing her to the jewelry store to pick out wedding rings.

It should have been a happy moment, but Su Wanyi just couldn’t smile, mainly because she had seen Ye Chen and that woman outside the villa earlier.

"Wanyi, what’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell?" Ye Chen looked at the listless Su Wanyi with concern and asked.

"Ye Chen, I’m indeed a bit uncomfortable, let’s leave." Su Wanyi said softly.

Hearing this, Ye Chen quickly supported Su Wanyi and walked out of the jewelry store.

Due to Su Wanyi’s discomfort, they didn’t continue shopping and instead drove away.

"Ye Chen, please take me home." Su Wanyi said to Ye Chen after getting in the car.

Ye Chen couldn’t figure out why Su Wanyi was acting strange today, her mood seemed off, did something happen?

"Wanyi, are you upset about something?" Ye Chen asked.

"I’m fine." Su Wanyi said indifferently.

Ye Chen knew Su Wanyi wasn’t being truthful but didn’t press further.

All the way back, neither spoke, and the atmosphere was somewhat awkward.

The car headed towards Su Wanyi’s villa neighborhood.

Usually, Su Wanyi would let Ye Chen drop her off at the door.

But this time she said, "Ye Chen, just stop at the gate, I’ll walk in."

"Wanyi, is there something you’re hiding from me? You seem particularly upset." Ye Chen asked with concern.

"No, I just feel a bit tired. I want to go home and rest early, you should go home too." Su Wanyi shook her head and said.

"Wanyi, I’ll walk you inside so I can be assured when I see you go in." Ye Chen said.

Hearing Ye Chen say this, Su Wanyi didn’t decline further; she nodded to show her consent.

Ye Chen drove the car to the villa entrance, Su Wanyi got out without saying another word to Ye Chen, and she opened the door and walked in.

"Wanyi, why don’t I stay with you tonight?" Ye Chen said.

Before Su Wanyi could respond, the door was shut with a bang.

Ye Chen stood helplessly at the door; clearly, Su Wanyi didn’t intend to let him in.

Having been turned away, Ye Chen saw no reason to stay around.

He started the car and drove in the direction of home.

That night, Su Wanyi did not call Ye Chen.

But he did call Su Wanyi a few times, all of which were rejected.

After a simple dinner, Ye Chen washed up and went to bed.

The next morning, Ye Chen called Su Wanyi early.

This time, Su Wanyi didn’t reject the call but answered it.

Judging by her voice, it was clear the girl had just gotten up.

"Wanyi, are you feeling better?" Ye Chen asked.

"I feel much better today," Su Wanyi’s voice was evidently much happier than yesterday.

"That’s good, just stay home and wait for me, I’ll come over to see you now." Ye Chen said.

"Are you coming? Is there something you need?" Su Wanyi asked with a puzzled expression.

"We’ll talk when we meet, alright, I’m hanging up now." Ye Chen said and then hung up the phone.

Su Wanyi didn’t know what Ye Chen wanted with her, so she hurriedly got up to wash.

About half an hour later, Ye Chen drove to Su Wanyi’s doorstep.

He gently knocked on the door, and inside, Su Wanyi’s voice called out, "Ye Chen, come in."

Su Wanyi opened the door and allowed Ye Chen into the house.

"Ye Chen, how did you get here so fast?" Su Wanyi asked in surprise.

Ye Chen took one look at Su Wanyi in front of him; the girl was still in her home clothes.

Su Wanyi hadn’t expected Ye Chen to arrive so quickly, feeling a bit embarrassed, she said: "Ye Chen, just wait a bit longer, I’ll be ready soon."

"No worries, take your time," Ye Chen gestured with his hand.

Su Wanyi had just stepped into the room when Ye Chen called out to her.

"Wanyi, dress beautifully today; I want to take you somewhere."

Hearing this, Su Wanyi hesitated for a moment and thought, "It’s so early, where are we going dressed so prettily?"

However, she only thought this to herself and didn’t ask explicitly.

Since Ye Chen said to dress beautifully, she decided to put some effort into her outfit.

Over an hour later, Su Wanyi came out of the room.

Seeing Su Wanyi dressed in a blue dress with exquisite makeup, Ye Chen was slightly dazed.

"What? Don’t recognize me?" Su Wanyi joked.

Su Wanyi, who was already like a celestial being descended to earth, now looked even more like the Ice and Snow Queen in her pale blue dress.

"Wanyi, when did you buy this dress? It’s really beautiful." Ye Chen said with a smile.

"Is it just the dress that’s beautiful?" Su Wanyi showed a displeased expression.

Ye Chen said this just to tease the girl.

"My wife is beautiful; she looks good in anything." Ye Chen said proudly.

"That’s more like it," Su Wanyi smiled.

"I assume you haven’t had breakfast? Let’s have breakfast together first." Ye Chen said.

"I wasn’t feeling hungry until you mentioned it; now I suddenly feel a bit hungry," Su Wanyi said, holding her stomach.

Before heading out, Su Wanyi took a pair of pale blue crystal shoes from the shoe cabinet and put them on.

Now looking at Su Wanyi, she really resembled Frozen’s Aisha, beautiful and ethereal from head to toe.

"Ye Chen, where exactly are you taking me?" Su Wanyi asked after getting in the car.

"It’s a secret; let’s have breakfast first." Ye Chen laughed and said.

Two people drove to KFC and ordered two breakfasts.

After breakfast, Ye Chen drove Su Wanyi to the mysterious place.

"Ye Chen, just tell me, so I can be mentally prepared." Su Wanyi suddenly said.

"If I tell you now, where’s the surprise?" Ye Chen refused.
