Chapter 116 The Bloodline of the Dragon, Elemental Spring
Chapter 116 The Bloodline of the Dragon, Elemental Spring
"Give me a little more, I'll fish here!" Lin Wei stood at the bow of the small boat, hands on his hips, shouting at the top of his lungs towards the sky. The sea breeze howled past, ruffling his hair.
Lin Wei prayed to the heavens, and what answered him was a continuous stream of shield-armored barnacles.
On the sea surface, one after another, millstone-sized barnacles emerged from the water, their hard shells gleaming coldly in the sunlight, as if demonstrating against Lin Wei.
The millstone-sized, impervious barnacles were easily breached from the inside out by him using the Yellow Rose Breathing Technique. Lin Wei, wielding a long sword, nimbly weaved among the barnacles, each swing of the sword accompanied by a whistling sound.
He took a deep breath, activated the Yellow Rose Breathing Technique, and a faint yellow light emanated from his body. Then, he slashed at the barnacle clam with his sword. The barnacle clam's seemingly indestructible shell was as fragile as paper under Lin Wei's attack and was instantly broken through.
……
One month later.
Lin Wei stood on the swaying boat, his face showing exhaustion but also barely concealing excitement. He skillfully killed another shielded barnacle, then expertly kicked the shell off the boat, sending it crashing into the water and splashing high into the air.
"Phew, I can't let anyone know I can handle this thing." Lin Wei wiped the sweat from his forehead, the sweat sliding down his cheeks and dripping onto the deck. A smug smile appeared on his lips. "After dealing with over thirty barnacles, the elemental factors in my brain have doubled. I've obtained over 300 elemental factors, and with the other sea creatures I caught, I now have over 700 in total."
"Who would believe it if I told them?" Lin Wei raised an eyebrow, his eyes filled with pride. He dusted himself off and began to organize the ship's loot.
Lin Wei broadened my knowledge of Rubik's Cubes.

Beside him, the ghostly Kardashian continued to devour barnacles, her body shimmering with an eerie light as she began to digest them. Her eyes were closed, a look of satisfaction on her face, as if she were enjoying a delicious meal.
"Here you go, this is the extracted bloodline, it contains the power of a dragon." Kardashian sat cross-legged and threw a blood shadow in front of Lin Wei. The blood shadow drew an arc in the air, carrying a mysterious aura.
It was a blood clot the size of a thumb, emitting a faint red glow.
"Earth Dragon Bloodline?" Lin Wei was overjoyed, his eyes lighting up instantly. He quickly took the blood clot with both hands, his face full of excitement. "This thing can be used to cultivate breathing techniques. Although I don't have a breathing technique corresponding to dragons yet, I'll find one sooner or later. It's better to be prepared."
"It should be. The bloodline of dragons is extremely powerful in any multiverse," Kardashian added, opening her eyes and looking at Lin Wei with certainty in her gaze.
"These barnacle shells are truly wonderful; this region is my treasure trove," Lin Wei said with a smile, playing with the blood clot in his hand, clearly delighted.
Having spent so much time in the wizarding world, he had discovered a pattern: the type of sea creatures he could catch depended on the location and the depth to which the transparent line was lowered. Changing the location or lowering the line further would result in different catches. As he spoke, he paced back and forth on the small boat, pondering his next move.
"Ready to head back. I've already noted down the coordinates and location here," Lin Wei muttered to himself. He walked to the stern and looked at the fuel tank. "The small boat is almost out of fuel."
Just then, Lin Wei noticed a sudden fog rising from the sea. The fog, like a ghost, quickly spread and obscured the distant view. Beneath the ship, large patches of fireflies flickered, as if a giant luminous pearl was hidden on the seabed.
"What is this?"
Lin Wei leaned his head over the edge of the small boat, staring intently down at the water. His eyes were fixed on the surface, trying to see through the thin layer of mist.
"It looks like a big, glowing bubble? It's constantly bubbling out, like something is being ejected."
Even across the water, Lin Wei couldn't see clearly and could only rely on his naked eye to make a judgment. His brows furrowed slightly, his face showing both doubt and curiosity.
"I even had a slight urge to jump in; my gut tells me this is good stuff," Lin Wei said, clutching his chest, his heart pounding faster than usual.
Just then, the smoke cleared a bit, and a number of boats belonging to wizard apprentices began to approach from near the small boat. The boats cut through the waves, and the wizard apprentices on board looked excited, as if they had discovered some kind of treasure.
Soon more than a dozen small boats appeared, lined up on the sea, forming a small fleet.
"A miniature elemental spring?" exclaimed a wizard apprentice on one of the small boats. The apprentice stood at the bow, pointing ahead with a look of delight on his face.
"It is indeed a spring, and it looks like it was formed naturally." The wizard apprentice on the other ship nodded excitedly, waving his arms and shouting.
Most of the signs were not from Turing Tower; Lin Wei judged from the markings that they belonged to nearby wizarding organizations.
"Child of Flame, Soul of the Hammer, Pact of the Shadow, Eye of the Sandstorm..." Lin Wei muttered to himself, his eyes scanning the ships as he remained vigilant.
They are all wizarding organizations similar to Turing Tower, representing all the major elemental factions. However, Turing Tower has a small number of wizarding apprentices and little say in the outside world.
Apart from Lin Wei's small boat, most of the other boats carried several people, all traveling in groups. The wizard apprentices gathered together, whispering and discussing amongst themselves.
"Who is this person?" a wizard apprentice wondered. It was a witch from the Eye of the Sandstorm. She frowned, her eyes filled with disdain.
"I don't know, looks like someone from the Turing Tower. This big guy comes to sea all by himself, what kind of training does this organization provide?" A wizard apprentice scoffed. He was a member of the Sons of Flame organization, named Kyle, a second-class wizard apprentice and captain, leading a small group of people out to sea. He crossed his arms, a mocking smile playing on his lips. "This guy looks like a big oaf. The Turing Tower is getting weaker and weaker."
Kyle thought that obscure wizarding organizations like the Turing Tower were just charlatans.
"What's it to you if I go through customs alone?"
